Benefits of Air-Flexx Valve Extensions
In practice, valve extensions sometimes come into contact with the edges of the rim hole, which can cause damage. Exposure to extreme temperatures, water, salt, as well as mechanical impacts from stones, snow, and ice also contributes to valve extension wear and damage. In this regard, Air-Flexx offers a significant advantage — they provide substantially higher durability.

Drawbacks of Rubber and Rigid Valve Extensions Compared to Air-Flexx
A flexible extension is usually made of rubber (optionally reinforced with steel wire) and does not have a core that interacts with the valve. When you screw the rubber extension onto the tire valve, air flows into the extension. As a result, the extension remains under full air pressure while driving. If it gets damaged, air loss from the tire is inevitable.
Rigid valve extensions are typically made from plastic or brass. One advantage is that the tire does not lose air because the rigid extension is not subjected to internal pressure.
Long-term use of Air-Flexx in the most demanding operating conditions demonstrates their significantly higher durability compared to traditional solutions.
